Description

Hegedus Cottage has two bedrooms each - One with a double bed
and a bedroom with 2 single beds), a large living room-kitchen and a large garden.
The furnishings are rustic.

We are in the village of Tabdi south of Budapest in the Hungarian Puszta in a central position between the Danube and Tisza rivers in a beautiful natural environment full of vegetation.
The nearest town is Kiskörös, famous for its wines, where they are found: the birthplace of the great Hungarian poet Petofi Sandor and the spas with one of the best healing waters in Europe, shops and a large spa with an outdoor swimming pool open and numerous wellness facilities.

In the immediate vicinity it is possible to go horseback riding in the various ranches.

We are in the vicinity of the Kiskunsag National Park at about 20 covers 35,000 hectares and has been declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. The characteristic landscape reserves numerous rarities and curiosities for its visitors.
The Puszta of Kiskunsag belongs to this park, where events are organized every year that recall the ancient life customs of the shepherds.
Here is located the lake of Kolon famous for the marsh tortoise, the heron, the Paleozoic reeds and the new orchid species that grow nearby.
The best known area of the park is Bugac, where the shepherds' museum is located and where you can observe herds of gray cattle, "racka" sheep of local origin.
Equestrian exhibitions and other events are held there every day.
Budapest, with its spectacular visits, can be reached in 1 hour.
Kecskemét is the largest city in this area offering rich cultural programs. The main square appears to be an open-air museum of Hungarian liberty.

The beautiful city of Szeged, famous for its music festival, palaces and parks, is about 80 km away.

The house features a large garden and swimming pool surrounded by a pine forest in an environment of peace and tranquility where you can admire beautiful red sunsets.
