Description

If you’re looking for your next ski break, then look no further. Gorgeous Le Loup is fresh on the market and ready for you to call your home-away-from-home for a week of snow-filled fun. Ideal for young families or groups of friends, Le Loup is a cosy lodge-style apartment within Courchevel Moriond’s iconic Portetta. Overlooking the beautiful Courchevel Moriond scenery, Le Loup perfectly emulates that feeling of being tucked up in a warm log cabin while the snow falls outside. Your apartment is well planned, maximising its space to allow you and your group maximum comfort throughout your stay. Your main living space is a traditional open-plan lounge with a combined living room and dining area and a small but fully-equipped kitchen. Mixing traditional ski lodge architecture with contemporary decor, Le Loup creates a relaxing and welcoming environment that truly feels like home. A laid-back lounge space nestles in the corner of the room, gathered around Le Loup’s flat-screen TV and a roaring fireplace. To the rear of the room, large wooden doors provide access to an outdoor balcony. Just off from the living area are your bedrooms and a shared shower room. The main bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, storage space, access to a second balcony and a private en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. The second bedroom emulates traditional cabin arrangements with built-in wooden bunk beds that are perfect for families with young children. While staying at Le Loup, you can make full use of Portetta’s facilities, though please be aware that doing so may incur additional charges. All apartments at Portetta allow guests to enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the lodge’s restaurant, Cucina Angelina, but, if you fancy it, you can upgrade your group to a half basis to include dinner as well. In addition to the restaurant, a trendy bar is also located at Portetta - perfect for a few drinks and light bites after a few hours on the slopes. For those in your party who don’t ski, a world-class spa is located within the lodge providing a fantastic selection of beauty and wellness treatments so that you can relax and unwind while the others hit the slopes. As for the skiers themselves, Le Loup has an on-site ski rental shop for all your equipment needs as well as a dedicated storage and overnight prep service. So, when you’re finished for the day, all you need to do is ski into Portetta, hand your gear over and collect it the next morning in good-as-new condition.

In the laid-back Courchevel Moriond zone of the Three Valleys ski resort, Le Loup has one of the most enviable spots in town. Set right at the foot of the area’s lifts and slopes, Le Loup is the perfect ski-in ski-out property. It’s relatively straightforward to get to Courchevel Moriond, however, as with many ski resorts, the transfer time can be lengthy. From Geneva Airport, the average transfer time is around two and a half hours. Once in Courchevel Moriond, you can get settled and prepare to hit the slopes. In Le Loup’s immediate area, the zone’s main ski lift is just a short walk away from your lodge’s front door. Once on the snow, you’ll see why Courchevel Moriond is so popular amongst novices and experienced skiers alike thanks to its laid-back but well-kept ski routes. While in Courchevel Moriond, you can also visit the neighbouring zones of Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel 1850, both of which are about a ten-minute drive away from Courchevel Moriond. Making up the wider Three Valleys ski resort, a regular bus service runs between the three elevations. Courchevel 1850 is especially popular with more advanced skiers thanks to its more challenging runs and higher elevation point compared to Courchevel Moriond. If hitting the slopes isn’t your thing, Courchevel Moriond still has plenty to discover with an excellent range of cafes, restaurants, shops and amenities just beyond your door. There’s even a fantastic aquatics centre about a five-minute drive from Le Loup where you can swim, play or indulge in a bit of aquatherapy.

This two bedroom apartment has a large balcony with great views over Courchevel Moriond and beyond. It is ideal for families or groups of friends!
