Comfortable studio/efficiency cottage with private patio and yard nestled under a magnificent 200 year Oak tree. This cottage is part of an approx. one acre 1922 Estate in the historic Saint Dunstans District. The Oak Cottage is furnished with a new queen-size hideaway Murphy bed, vented gas fireplace, new maple kitchen cabinets, new dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, spacious bath with freestanding modern tub and separate glass shower. We’ve added a full cable package, Netflix, Hulu, and PBS Passport for entertainment. There is a complementary laundry room in the main house for your use.
You are in walking distance to the Biltmore shopping village, the entrance of the Biltmore Estate, multiple breweries and restaurants. Approximately 1.2 miles to Asheville’s vibrant downtown breweries, restaurants, art galleries, music venues, and an organic food grocery.
An easy .5 mile to the entrance of the Biltmore Estate, as well as shopping and dining in the Biltmore Village. An easy .3 mile neighborhood walk to Standard Pizza, Hi-Wire Brewery, Tree Rock Cider House, Appalachian Vintners, two sandwich and sub shops, a bar-b-q restaurant (oldest in town) and a locally-sourced, grass-fed hamburger truck.
