Les Portes des Cévennes enjoys a peaceful setting, around 2 km from the centre of the medieval town of Sauve. This resort features a reception and a wonderful indoor and outdoor swimming pool (indoor pool is heated, outdoor pool opening times are weather dependent). There are also some nice sun terraces with loungers, a gym, a sauna and a tennis court. There's a laundry. Central parking spaces; the park is low-traffic This lovely holiday resort enjoys a peaceful setting, just outside the historic town of Sauve. The nearest shops are around 1.5 km away. You'll be staying in 'Le Gard', a region in the South of France, in the hinterland of the Languedoc. The most famous sight in this area is the Pont du Gard, an aqueduct listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. It's an hour's drive away and a must during your stay here. The museum on the other side of the bridge is also worth a visit. Other interesting places to visit include the canyons of Gorges des Cévennes, the charming town of Anduze, the historical city of Montpellier and the town of Nimes with its enormous Roman amphitheatre. Some other ideas include a day trip to the vast sandy beaches of the Languedoc and a visit to the fascinating Camargue region. Explore on foot, by bike or on horseback - one thing you'll definitely see is flamingos!

Les Portes des Cévennes offers 90 clustered maisonettes, situated on a beautiful 6-hectare domain. They're furnished in nice and efficient way and always feature a complete kitchenette and a (covered) terrace with seating area. The maisonettes are built in beautiful, local style with good materials and a first floor.
