Description

Cottage by the lake with private location, own beach and miles of lake views! Welcome to a uniquely located cottage right on the beach next to it mile-wide and easily paddled lake and the water system Bullaresjöarna. The cottage is located privately and scenically and has its own beach where you can take your evening or morning dip. On the plot there is an aluminum boat with associated oars that you freely tends to, for example, with a little luck fish up the dinner in form of perch or pike (Fishing license required) or to row to the sandy beach a few hundred meters away. A nice terrace surrounds the house on three sides and by the shore there is another small terrace to enjoy the lake view from. For those who want to have your own canoe, this cabin is an excellent choice and for those who like nature experiences, there is plenty of both untouched nature and rich wildlife, do not forget the camera ! In late summer and autumn there are both berries and fungi in the forests. The cottage has an open floor plan with a cozy kitchen and living room with large patio doors out to the lake and the patio where you can enjoy good meals and drinks in addition. The living area also has a wood burning stove, which can be nice to use if the evening would be cold. The two bedrooms are comfortable beds so you will wake up really rested. Shower and washbasin are in the cottage while the toilet (electric toilet Cinderella) is located in its own building next to the cottage. The cottage is located in a slope down to the lake. In the area there are various excursion destinations such as Älgafallet, a magnificent waterfall with 46 m height, well worth a visit. The river above the fall forms the border itself between Sweden and Norway. Take a ride (about 45 km) over the border to Norway and Halden for a visit to Fredriksten's fortress. Strömstad (approx. 30 km) a town by the sea with a large selection of activities during the summer, rich restaurant life, nice shopping in small stores that are close to each other and you feel a salty cooling dip in the summer heat is the short distance to rocks, sea and bathing boat out to one of the islands in the Strömstad archipelago. It is also possible from Strömstad ferry out to the Koster Islands, Sweden's westernmost islands with a resident population. Welcome!
