Pisa, Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena are within easy driving distance. . 2 km of well maintained white road leads past vineyards and woodland, up to the house. The pool is on a terrace above the house, with a panoramic view of the village and the coast. The house boasts traditional beams and 'cotto' tiles, with a loggia terrace perfect for dining in summer, and a wood oven and bbq on the outside terrace. Thick walls and a gentle early afternoon breeze often blowing from the sea ensure that the heat of summer is rarely excessive.
