Description

Newly remodeled cabin located on the beautiful Sandy River. The hot tub overlooks the swift moving river creating the perfect sanctuary to unwind and relax. This space has 2 bedrooms and a loft overlooking the main living space, a beautiful deck, BBQ Grill and the choice of 2 firepits (both shared with cabin next door), one of the firepits is located right on the beach. A great place for the whole family to unwind and enjoy nature!

The Space:

Of the three cabins located on this property this one has the best hot tub view of the river. Let your worries melt away with sound of the river drowning out all other noises!

Guest Access:

The entire space is for our guests to access. Outdoors there is a shared yard with one other cabin and the beach area is for all three cabins to share.

Interaction with Guests:

There is a lockbox to allow you access to the home and we will give you your privacy but we are available if you need anything.

The Neighborhood:

We are centrally located between the cute and quaint little town of Sandy and Timberline Lodge at the top of Mt Hood. This location allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds from a day spent at one of many beautiful parks located in Sandy to year round Skiing up at Timberline. Some popular activities in the summer include hanging out at the many parks along the river in Sandy, white water rafting down the Deschutes river, kayaking at Trillium Lake, horseback riding, summer tube slides, winter tubing, mountain biking, and hiking just to name a few! In the winter you might enjoy Cosmic Tubing, Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing up on the mountain and hiking, mountain biking, or fishing in the lower elevations! There is a chance of snow at the cabins in winter and we do our best to keep the driveways clear.

Getting Around:

You will need a car to get around in and in the winter you will need chains on your tires to navigate the mountain roads.

There are shuttles that go up to the mountain ski areas and the pickup location is just down the road, you will need to research those options and schedule your pick up/drop off.

Other Things to Note:

Cell phone service is spotty I know Verizon phones get no reception, Att gets great reception, and I am unsure of other carriers. The water is from a shared well and tastes like iron, we suggest bringing up drinking water if you don't like well water.

There is a possibility that you might cross paths with some of the creatures who’s space we have invaded including mice, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, spiders or other bugs. There will be no refunds or discounts provided to those who have such encounters even if the encounter happens inside the cabin. We do our best to keep them outdoors but they are small and smart and know how to get in.
