On a country lane leading into the village of Loupiac, this property promises peace and tranquillity. It is ideally situated for exploring the Lot Valley and its villages; with Capdenac-le-haut (8kms), one of the "Plus beaux villages de France", Cajarc (24kms), a vibrant centre in the summer with a packed programme of festivals and events, and a little further down river St. Cirq Lapopie (40km), one of the most popular villages in France. The Medieval town of Figeac (7kms) has all the necessary services and is best known for being the birthplace of Champollion the famous Egyptologist. In the next village are the Grottes de Foissac which contain bones and artifacts from Prehistoric times and on Thursday mornings Villefranche de Rouergue has the largest outdoor market in Aveyron and is a riot of colour and local produce. For those looking for something more active there is horseriding nearby (3km) as well as canoeing/kayaking on the Lot, Célé and Aveyron rivers, and the whole region is a walker's paradise.
