Transformed from its original farm roots, the splendid Villa Boliqueime Gran, situated 322 meters above sea level, offers a luxurious escape with panoramic views extending from the surrounding countryside to the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. The villa seamlessly blends the charm of its restored farmhouse, now comprising half of the accommodation, with contemporary additions that enhance the overall experience.
Inside the villa, an array of original features captivates visitors. The charming stone walls, a fireplace that exudes warmth, and an eclectic mix of both functional and decorative furnishings create a unique ambiance. The low ceilings in the original section of the house add character, complemented by attractive porcelain details. The small yet well-equipped kitchen maintains a rustic charm, steering clear of modern high-tech aesthetics.
The garden, a highlight at the front of the house, welcomes guests through double gates leading to a path meandering towards a bridge over a tranquil frog pond, revealing a hidden seating area. At the rear of the house, the pool becomes a focal point, surrounded by terraces and a lush lawn. Multiple outdoor dining spots, including a shaded terrace with a barbecue, invite residents to savour al fresco meals.
The villa's layout caters to various preferences, with the original house featuring a small kitchen, dining room, living room, and a mix of bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The first floor of the original house hosts unique single and twin bedrooms, each with distinctive low ceilings and curtained-off clothes rails.
In contrast, the new house boasts a modern living and dining area, along with twin bedrooms, one of which includes an en-suite bathroom. The first floor introduces a double bedroom with a small terrace and an en-suite bathroom, as well as a twin bedroom with its own terrace and bathroom. A noteworthy detail is the open staircase, requiring caution with young children.
To ensure a comfortable stay, the villa provides amenities such as air conditioning in all bedrooms, maid service three times a week (including the day of arrival), Wi-Fi, television with DVD and CD players, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, and hairdryer. The outdoor area complements the experience with a 9 x 4.5 m swimming pool, swings, a slide, and pool towels, creating an idyllic setting for a memorable holiday.
