Welcome to this spacious holiday home, with it's big garden and beautiful surroundings. This house is big enough for two families. The house features a kitchen with all the amenities you need, and a big living room with a TV and satellite channels. On the bottom floor, you will also find a dining room, a bedroom (with two single beds) and a bathroom with a WC and a washbasin. On the second floor, there are all of five bedrooms, two of which open onto the lovely balcony. One bedroom has a double bed, three of the bedrooms have two single beds in each, and one bedroom has one single bed and two bunk beds. The upstairs bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There's a washing machine and a dryer in the basement. Two rowing boats are included in the rent. You will find them docked by lake Rödjesjön, only 600 metres away. This is a good place for fish and swimming. Lake Sommen is 10 kilometres away, and also excellent for fishing. The town of Tranås is 20 minutes away by car. There are plenty of other interesting places in the area. If you are interested in history, you will enjoy a visit to the picturesque town of Vadstena ( 50 minutes by car), set right by lake Vättern. Vadstena was once up for becoming the capital of Sweden, before Stockholm was chosen. King Gustav Vasa built a castle here, in the middle ages, and it still stands today, in excellent shape. There are also several beautiful old churches you can visit, as well as a convent where the Birgitta-sisters live. This is the town that Saint Bridget is from and it offers plenty of culture and historical sites. Between Ödeshög and Vadstena you will find the ruins of the monastery Alvastra Kloster, set in beautiful surroundings right by the mountain Omberg. Omberg is well worth a visit for those who love walking in beech forests. Welcome to this wonderful holiday home!
