Come spend your vacation here at Captain Jay's Cove Lake Castle on Lake Travis. Private Cove, you're not next door to anybody. We are one of the largest waterfront properties in Volente. This is a 3-master bedroom plus, 3.5 bath house on a 2.5-acre lakefront lot with private cove, private boat dock and two boats and jet ski for rent (PLEASE SEE AMENITIES SECTION FOR PRICING), as well as, recreational area with patio and fire-pit. No-one has this acreage or view of the main body of Lake Travis. Note: We are in the country and will have critters and such around.

Responsible parties welcome. We take great pride in keeping the grounds and house clean we ask our guest to do the same upon their departure. We greet our guests and provide a tour of the house and grounds upon arrival. We live on the property in a separate house with our three dachshunds (the dogs are kept in a fenced area). We will not disturb our guests, we do make ourselves available 24hrs if our guests need help or have a question.

The Castle has THREE MASTER SIZE BEDROOMS WITH AN UPSTAIRS OPEN GALLERY ROOM AND 3.5 BATHS (Safe Room – California King Bed, Zen room - Queen bed, Aqua room - 2 Queen beds). UPSTAIRS CENTER GALLERY ROOM (NOT PRIVATE) has one Full-Size Bed and one Day Bed w/Trundle. We have two WALK-IN CLOSETS OFF THE BATHROOM (W/POCKET DOORS FOR PRIVACY) CONVERTED TO SLEEPING AREAS WITH TWIN SIZE BUNK BEDS. We have extra clean new Air Beds and Cots for extra guests. Sleeps a total of 10 people very comfortably.

We also provide extra paper towels and toilet paper, board games, full washer and dryer. Our cabinets are filled with extra spices and condiments, dishes, utensils, cups, and coffee pots (one is Krueing - bring your own pods).

We have two large decks and flat rooftop overlooking the lake with spectacular Lake & Sunset views - Best on Lake Travis. All have chairs and benches available.

Cable and high-speed WiFi, plus more included, 70" TV in living room. Fully stocked kitchen also gas grill outside on lower deck with propane provided.

We have private deep-water cove with private dock (SEE FEES BELOW) for your enjoyment and use. Guarantee to always have water! Lake Travis is a not a constant level lake the dock is a floating movable dock. DURING CERTAIN TIMES OF THE YEAR DUE TO DROUGHT LAKE LEVEL WILL BE LOW AND THE TREK TO THE WATER WILL BE LONGER AND ROCKIER YET ACCESSIBLE. Not recommended for babies or handicap.

Spend the evening on the dock which is lite up with lights. Dock features table, chairs, diving board, noodles, and flotation devices (plus life/ski jackets). We have three Canoes, four Kayaks, two Paddle boards available for your use at any time (No Charge).

We Honda scooters for rent to go around local area.

We are located directly across Starnes Island (Rattle Snake Island). Close to VIP Marina and Volente Water Park & Beachside Billy. Party Boat available at the Marina and easy boat loading access. Listen to live music Friday and Saturday night's coming from the Beachside Billy's or take a stroll on over for dinner and music. We also have boats for rental.

The land is also a Wildlife Sanctuary we have various birds (both land and water) and various critters (Armadillo, Raccoons, Squirrels, etc).

We also provide extra suntan lotion and beach towels if you forget yours. We have three Fire Pits, Large Life Tyme BBQ Smoker (vertical stack), and three gas propane grills.

We are only 10 minutes from The Oasis restaurant, 20 minutes to Lakeway & Mansfield Dam, and only 35 minute drive to downtown Austin! You can also Uber to downtown.

If you like to bargain shop we are power sellers ebay store owners (20 years - with 100% positive feedback) and you are welcome to see our unique Texas items such as boots, toys, vintage items, electronics, etc. everything is for sale just ask. THE BASE RATE FOR BOTH STANDARD AND WINTER PRICING IS BASED ON 8 OCCUPANTS, ANY ADDITIONAL OCCUPANTS AFTER 8 IS AN ADDITIONAL $50.00 FEE PER PERSON PER NIGHT.

PETS: Pets are considered like an extra person there is a $50 per pet per day rate.
Sometimes we have guest coming in behind you same day, extra cleaning fees might be applied if the house needs extra cleaning due to pets. If our cleaning crew deems extra cleaning is needed the extra cleaning fees will be taken out of the damage deposit.

For additional people (day use only) accessing the property but not staying over there will be an extra $10.00 PER PERSON PER DAY CHARGE. For security and liability we must be informed of any extra guest on the property.

TO MOOR YOUR PERSONAL BOAT OR OUTSIDE RENTAL THERE WILL BE A MOORING FEE. THIS IS TO DUE TO DAMAGE AND WEAR & TEAR OF THE DOCK.
