The nearest village with services is Bouillé Loretz (3kms) but Thouars (10kms) has bigger supermarkets, a golf course, swimming pool, tennis, etc. Montreuil Bellay has a very attractive château and ramparts 10kms North West of you and just beyond that is the famous town of Saumur with its castle, very pretty centre and «Cadre Noir». You are here in the heart of the wine producing areas of the Loire Valley, so a visit to one of the wine centres is a must. Try also the zoo at Doué la Fontaine which is very popular.
