Le Hameau de la Vézère sits in the peace and quiet of nature near the river of the same name and about 5 km from the centre of the charming town of Le Bugue in the heart of the Périgord Noir (Dordogne). The residence has a reception, a lovely (heated) swimming pool with heated children's pool (both open from the end of April to mid-September, depending on the weather). There are also sun terraces with loungers, a playground, table tennis, mini golf and bicycle rental. Parking spaces are near the holiday home. People who enjoy the peace and quiet, nature, culture and the good French life have come to the right place here. The surroundings are ideal for horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and taking beautiful hikes; for example along the banks of the Vézère. The Périgord Noir is also known for its many gastronomic specialities such as Confit de Canard and Foie Gras. 'Around the corner' is the Gouffre (cave) of Proumeyssac. You should also visit the nearby castles of Beynac and Castelnau and the picturesque villages of La Roque-Gageac and Domme. The photogenic towns of Sarlat and Eyzies are only half an hour away by car. The city of Périgueux (40 km.) is the capital of the Dordogne department. The city is surrounded by city walls, and the houses date back to the Middle Ages. You will even find an amphitheatre from the first century! There are also many post-medieval buildings from the Renaissance era. Périgueux is on the pilgrims' route to Santiago de Compostella.

Le Hameau de la Vézère offers semi-detached maisonettes, which are located in the peaceful nature about 500m from the river La Vézère. They always have a complete kitchenette and a terrace/garden with garden furniture. You can choose from the following types: A maisonnette with one bedroom and a sofa for 4 persons (FR-24260-04) A maisonnette with multiple floors, two bedrooms (of which one sleepcabin) and a sofa for 6 persons (FR-24260-06) A maisonnette with two bedrooms, a sofa and an extra bed for 6/7 persons (FR-24260-07)
