Resort Zuiderzee is a large holiday park, located approx. 7 km. from the centre of Elburg in the municipality of Biddinghuizen. It is a developing park and it borders directly on the versatile Veluwemeer (Veluwe lake). The facilities are very varied and there are plenty of them at Resort Zuiderzee. For water sports enthusiasts there is a boat ramp, boat rental and a marina. You'll never be bored, whether the weather is good or bad. You have various options for young and old both inside and outside; miniature golf, various playgrounds, an indoor playground are just some examples. There is also a large indoor swimming pool with children's pool and slide that is at least 40m long. So that the adults can also enjoy some relaxation, there is a sauna, a Turkish steam bath and a whirlpool. A recreation team provides the necessary entertainment. An (à la carte) restaurant, cafe and snack bar complete the picture. But there is also plenty to experience in the area surrounding Resort Zuiderzee. Veluwemeer offers plenty of options. You can fish, windsurf or take a boat trip here. The large sandy beach is perfect for relaxing and chilling in the sun. You can take beautiful cycling and/or hiking trips in the wooded area. In the adjacent piece of "primeval forest" you may just spot a beaver. Some tips for day trips; The Dolphinarium in Harderwijk (20 km), Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen (3.1 km), the Grote Kabouterbos in Dronten (14 km), Aviodrome in Lelystad (25 km), Play and Do-park De Voorst in Kraggenbrug (33 km), Harderwold golf course in Zeewolde (17 km) or the Avontura in Dronten (18 km). There are also various cities within easy reach. All with their own atmosphere, but each one offering many opportunities for shopping, cultural attractions and a wide choice of cosy restaurants and terraces. A few for the list: Zwolle (30km), Apeldoorn (45km), Deventer (47km), Almere (51km), Amersfoort (53km), and you can even reach the historic port town of Enkhuizen (64km) via the dyke. In short; Resort Zuiderzee offers many opportunities for young and old, lovers of peace and nature but also for the active adventurers. One thing is certain; you will never be bored here. Resort Zuiderzee is a park under development. This means that there may be construction work taking place. We will try to limit any inconvenience as much as possible.

The Zuiderzee Resort, which is currently under development, has four different types of detached chalets and villas available for booking. There is a 4-person ground floor chalet (NL-8256-15) which is more traditional. You have a living room and open plan kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and one has two single beds. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. There is also a modern, 6-person ground floor chalet (NL-8256-16). You have a living room and open kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. There are three bedrooms, including one with a double bed. A bunk bed and two single beds are divided between the other two bedrooms. The bathroom features a shower and toilet. The centre facilities and playground are a stone's throw away. The NL-8256-17 is a modern chalet with a lot glass finishing. This makes it wonderfully light inside the chalet. There is a living room and open plan kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. There are three bedrooms, two of which each have two single beds that can be made up as doubles, and one bedroom with a bunk bed. The bathroom features a shower and toilet. This chalet is centrally located in the park, close to a playground. Finally, there is the spacious and modern 10-person villa (NL-8256-18). You have a living room and open plan kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. There are five bedrooms, one on the ground floor and four on the first floor. One of the bedrooms has a double bed. In the other bedrooms you'll find two single beds that can be made up as doubles. There are three bathrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the first floor. All bathrooms are fitted with a shower. There's a separate toilet both downstairs and upstairs. Each holiday home has a garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There is parking space for one car at the accommodation. All beds except the bunks are single box spring beds that can be made up as doubles. Resort Zuiderzee is a park under development. As a result there could be construction work taking place. Like any other disturbance, this is kept to a minimum as much as possible. The pool will be closed from January 10 to April 2022 for maintenance.

• During the periods of June 19-22, June 26-29, August 14-17, an additional deposit of € 185 will be requested.
• For the weekend of August 21-24, 2020, an additional deposit of € 185 will apply at Resort Zuiderzee.
• Due to major periodic maintenance, the indoor play paradise is closed from November 18 to December 1.
• Resort Zuiderzee is a resort under construction. This means that work is taking place on the site. New chalets are installed, the gardens are laid out and the infrastructure is improved. This can cause inconvenience during the day, but naturally we ensure that the inconvenience is kept to a minimum. The facilities, such as the swimming pool, the indoor playground and the hospitality industry, are just open at regular opening times.
• During the weekend from June 26 to June 28, the Defqon1 hardstyle festival takes place on the festival grounds next to the resort. This makes noise pollution possible.
• Due to construction work, the swimming pool will be closed from 6 January to 16 February 2020
• The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
• Type homes are divided into categories. Because these are private properties, they were decorated according to the owner’s personal taste and surface area, furnishing and size may vary – the level of comfort is as described, however. The arrangement of beds (sleeping places, separate beds or double beds) depends on the owner and cannot be determined beforehand. The pictures on display here serve as an example only
• Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
• The holiday home is exclusively available for recreation purpose only

At holiday parks the amenities such as entertainment, kids club, swimming pool, wellness and the restaurants may have altered opening hours or might be closed. As soon as it is possible according to government advice, facilities will be opened once again.
