Located in a peaceful and private rural setting near the pretty village of Espinas; 10 minutes drive from the 13th century market town of St Antonin Noble Val and within easy reach of the beautiful bastide towns of Najac, Cordes sur Ciel and Albi, Les Bouleaux is the perfect base to explore this wonderful area of SW France.

The four bedroom gîte has been converted from a traditional Quercy barn and retains many original features. Our adjoining barn faces away from the guest house, garden and pool ensuring privacy.

The property can accommodate up to 7 people in two double bedrooms, one ensuite and one with WC, a twin (can be made up as one large bed) and a single bedroom.

If you need additional accommodation (up to 4 more people) please contact us as we have two rooms that can be rented with the gîte.
A high chair and travel cot are available.

The well equipped kitchen/dining room has lots of character. The comfortable sitting room has a good supply of books, games , English and French satellite TV, DVD player with a wide selection of films and free WiFi.
There is a woodburning stove making it super cosy in the cooler months (wood supplied).

The vine covered abri adjacent to the house has a large, extendable, table with plenty of chairs, a BBQ and lighting. It is a wonderful place to have breakfast as the sun appears and to enjoy an evening meal with family and friends.

The superb swimming pool (12mx6m) has a large paved terrace with sun loungers, umbrellas, a covered area with comfortable chairs and a large table.
The pool is fenced and is equipped with pool alarms.

There is plenty of relaxation space, a huge oak tree with hammock, a sheltered terraced area for a quiet contemplation and an open sided barn with table tennis, table football, sofas and a music system.
Badminton net with rackets, football goals and boules are also provided.

As the pool gets the sun all day some guest find it difficult to move very far! However the area offers varied opportunities for those who want to be more active or to explore.

There are many signposted walks in the area (guide books available) amongst the hills and limestone cliffs around St Antonin and along the river Aveyron.

Canoeing down the river is a fantastic way to spend a day. It is fun (and safe) for people of all ages, a trip not to be missed.

Bicycles and electric bikes can be hired in St Antonin by the hour or day; a fantastic way to see the spectacular countryside.

There are two superb new tennis courts in St Antonin, horse riding on offer nearby, with rock climbing and via ferrata in the local area.

Exploring the amazing medieval towns, trawling the wonderful markets (our local, bustling St Antonin market is on Sunday mornings throughout the year) sampling the food, visiting the vineyards of Cahors and Gaillac can keep you busy for weeks!
