This cottage is situated directly on the intracoastal waterway while still only a few hundred yards from the beach (via a private gated deeded beach access). The villa features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a great living area and 5 separate patios, a boat basin, fishing pier, pool, tiki bar and bocce ball court allowing you to take in all Siesta Key has to offer.
Originally, this building was a barracks built in 1943 used for WW2 pilots training on P-39, P-47, P-51 and B-26 out of Venice, FL. It was decommissioned and moved to Siesta Key in the late 1960s and painstakingly restored in 2023 down to the studs and rebuilt to Dade Hurricane code (new floor, walls, windows, doors, etc).
Appointed with high-end lighting (Buster & Punch), furniture (Arhaus, West Elm, CB2), and all new plumbing/electrical, this cottage was inspired by our travels to Mexico and the Mediterranean while still incorporating local suncoast touches.
