Description

This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bath, Cape-style house with modern amenities is in a quiet neighborhood setting. The house is situated at the end of a dead-end road and bordered on two sides by conservation land. Clean, updated furnishings, hardwood and tiled floors throughout the house, no carpets.

It's an easy 2-mile drive to beautiful Craigville Beach. Or, a 1-mile bike or walk to nearby Eugenia Fortes Beach (resident-only parking) in nearby Hyannisport.

The main level features a large eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas range, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal, as well as opening to a deck with gas grill and dining table, a living room with gas fireplace, a formal dining room, and a full bath.

Upstairs is a large master with queen bed and windows on three sides, a full bath with a porcelain console sink, and two smaller bedrooms, one with two twin beds and one with bunk beds.

The spacious basement is newly-finished and includes a media room and Roku TV, a game room with a ping-pong table, and two new queen size inner coil futons for additional sleeping space.

Outside is a farmers porch with a swing and Adirondack chairs (plus additional seating), basketball hoop and lawn space surrounded by conservation land. We added a nice outdoor shower for 2018!

The house has high speed internet and wifi. There's also a cell phone signal booster. Beware -- in these locations near the sea, the signal is often weak so without one of these, you may not get a usable signal.

There's a shed out back with six beach chairs, two beach umbrellas, a couple of large coolers (one with wheels), several body boards, tennis rackets, a kite and other toys.

Our home sits on a quiet, dead-end street, great for kids! This area is not as it appears on the maps. The roads and neighborhood were never completed and were instead made into conservation land protecting the Simmons Pond watershed. This is the last house on Whip-O-Will Drive. It sits by itself and looks out on a large expanse of grass and trees. Be sure and watch the video.
