At the north of Périgueux, near the charming town of Sorges, known as the capital of truffles with the best restaurant for truffles. Set in the countryside, this cottage is located next to a 13th century château. Surrounded by woods and natural land, it is ideal for walks, cycling or just resting. The nearby village of Cubjac has a beach on the River Auvézère. Twenty minutes away is Périgueux, a large city with many interesting museums, shops and daily markets. In the other direction is the château of Hautefort with beautiful gardens, and a little further Brantôme with boat trips on the Dronne.
