Domaine d ' Essendiéras is a beautifully landscaped domain (400 HA) with two impressive castles and a challenging 9-holes golf course in the middle of the green heart of the Dordogne. The two castles which dominate the estate form together with the outbuildings a closed courtyard: a fantastic medieval decor where in the summer months, live music is played and where you can eat and drink at long tables. After the restoration the original function of the buildings is kept. So you'll find the original stables, blacksmith shop, carpenter shop, the tobacco attic and so on.
