The coast is within easy driving distance and, once there, you can take the ferry connecting Ste Maxime to St Tropez across the gulf. Inland hilltop villages such as Plan de la Tour, Grimaud, Ramatuelle and Gassin are very picturesque and have plenty to offer in terms of good restaurants, colourful weekly markets, far reaching sea views, castles and other historical buildings, as well as the chance to experience the typical lifestyle of a cheerful French country village. Last but not least, wine-tasting is also available at Domaine de Beaucas, just 2 kms from the villa!
