Just 50m from the sea, Villa Sibila offers delightful views from the coast of Krk island. Easily accessible from Rijeka Airport, which is around 20 minutes drive away in the north of the island, this 4-bedroom villa has a lovely outdoor pool and spacious terrace.
Villa Sibila is situated in the small village of Klimno. Its outdoor space is peaceful and private, centred on the enticing heated pool. There is a lounge area with a sofa and an array of sun loungers, and a large gas barbecue is available. The villa offers a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. You can enjoy a flatscreen TV with satellite channels, ample seating and every appliance from a coffee machine to a dishwasher. Wooden floors and appealing décor and lighting create a relaxed vibe here.
The four bedrooms include one on the ground floor, with a king-size bed, private bathroom, TV, and terrace access. Two of the remaining three upstairs also have access to the upper terrace and are similar in features. There is also air conditioning, underfloor heating, and internet access throughout Villa Sibila.
Known as the ‘Golden Isle’, Krk is a sought-after destination in northern Croatia, connected via a bridge to the mainland. Krk Town is around 20km from Klimno and offers historic sights such as the Frankopan Castle and Krk Cathedral, while beautiful beaches and vineyards define the local landscape. Be sure to head to the culturally rich city of Rijeka, where Trsat Castle, the Natural History Museum and the buzzing Korso promenade await you.
As Croatia’s largest island, Krk is a popular destination known as the ‘Golden Isle’; it’s scenic enough in its own right and serves as a good base for exploring the country’s north, too—a bridge connects Krk to the mainland. Villa Sibila is located in the small village of Klimno, which has a couple of restaurants and convenience stores on the seafront.
The town that shares the island’s name is well worth a look, lined with beautiful beaches and good cultural attractions. The city walls date back more than 2000 years, while the Frankopan Castle which sits overlooking the sea has its roots in the 12th century. Krk Cathedral, or the Cathedral of the Assumption, is of a similar vintage and is one of the stand-out sights of the Old Town. Meanwhile, the pretty harbourside promenade is filled with café terraces and bars.
Whether you prefer scuba-diving, hiking in the mountains or cycling, you can always do something active on Krk. Zip-lining, rock climbing and quad biking are all possible, while various boat hire centres will get you out on the water.
