Walk (or bus) just 2 km to Bergerac's Old Town, where the winding streets hold medieval architectural treasures in addition to the boutiques and restaurants. A few Michelin-recommended restaurants are in the Old Town - La Table du Marche Couvert and L'Imparfait. At the end of your evening, you might take in a show at Le Music Hall for a burlesque-style spectacle.
Bergerac is also the centre of the region's wine production; you must visit the Musee du Vin to learn all about the local appellation. Rent a car for a day trip (at least) to explore the dozens of wineries radiating out from Bergerac along the Dordogne...you'll be so glad you did.

The city of Bergerac, with its international airport, is about 2 km away. A visit to the old town standing out for its medieval architecture, narrow streets full of local boutiques and good restaurant, is highly recommended.
Here, you will also find the unmissable Maisons de Vins and will have the opportunity to take a tour along the Route de Vins de Bergerac.
The whole region is a true haven for nature and sport lovers alike offering a wide array of outdoor activities, from horse-back riding, to tennis, mountain-biking, golfing and watersports, not to mention the number of hiking and fishing opportunities.
