The municipality preserves prehistoric vestiges in the caves of La Pila, in Cuchía, and Cudón. The latter is especially notable, which belongs to the Upper Paleolithic and houses engravings and cave paintings. In this area there are also various mountain houses, among which the Herrera Palace stands out, a baroque mansion that was built between the 17th and 18th centuries.
As exponents of religious architecture, we can mention the parish churches of Mogro, Miengo, Bárcena de Cudón and Cuchía.
Miengo celebrates numerous pilgrimages and festivals during the summer season. The patron saint of the municipality is the Virgen del Monte, who is commemorated on August 24 in Mogro
