Our house is a Montafon mountain farm over 350 years old, and is located in a unique location at 1140m above Schruns in the Montafon. The former mountain farm is ideal for 10 to max. 12 people and is open all year round.



The breathtaking panorama offers the right ambience for everyone looking for peace and relaxation, far away from hectic everyday life. Enjoy the traditional and unspeakable flair of this power oasis without having to do without the usual comfort of our time.

The large fenced terrace is ideal for dog owners. Dogs are very welcome and live free of charge.

Despite the idyllic secluded location, we can be reached by car all year round. A 3.5 km long mountain road leads to the house. The journey from Schruns takes 10-15 minutes. During the winter months, the street is regularly cleared and spread, so our house is always accessible by car. In winter we recommend taking snow chains with you!
The oldest parts of our house are approximately 350 years old. Our aim is to maintain 'old values' and meet modern requirements. We integrated running hot and cold water, electricity, WiFi, satellite TV, floor heating, shoe dryer, modern sanitary facilities with a wellness shower and much more without destroying the comfort of the former farm.
The modern pellet system combined with solar collectors ensure that it is warm in the house and that there is always enough hot water available. On request, we are happy to heat the wood stove for our guests during the winter months.
The combination of modern comfort and the rustic flair of the old montafon wood construction art give our house its unmistakable character. Originally built and expanded again and again to have a "home" for the large farming family, who traditionally had all generations living under one roof, today our house is the ideal accommodation for 10 to max. 12 people. Whether for a family reunion where the focus is on being together, or as a place to rest, relax and slow down for all the stress, our house is ideal for anyone looking for a break from our hectic everyday life.
The guest area extends over 2 floors and has 5 double rooms and 1 twin room, 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 bath / toilet, 2 complete. furnished kitchens and 1 lounge with satellite TV. Be curious about what our house has to offer.
Our house is constantly being renovated and adapted bit by bit to the modern demands of our time. Our guest house is heated with a modern pellet system which is supported by 14m² solar panels. All water consumption is supplied by the in-house source. Enjoy the particularly good water quality straight from the tap.

We are open all year round for you and our house and can be booked in different categories.

No matter whether as self-catering accommodation, for everyone who likes to be undisturbed, or as accommodation with breakfast. We are happy to adapt our offer to your wishes and requirements.
Our rooms are made of solid wood and some have stone pine ceilings. The rooms are simple and cozy. You don't want a hotel atmosphere, but want to be cozy with your loved ones? Grilling together and cozy game nights mean vacation for you? Then you are exactly right with us. The house is ideal for groups of 10 - 12 people. There are 5 double rooms and 1 twin room in the house. Bed linen is included in the price for all supply options.

Our house in winter
We are not in the middle of it, we are there! Our house is located below the middle station of the Hochjoch cable car (ski area Silvretta Montafon). During the winter season we offer our guests a shuttle to the valley run, which runs a little way above the house. The ride to the valley run takes about 5 minutes and you're ready to go. On the freshly groomed lower part of Vorarlberg's longest valley run without the hassle of changing at the parking lot, you can hit the slopes immediately! You can drive to the house, or if you don't dare, you can have us pick you up at the valley run. Our shuttle service is not suitable for beginners! The valley ride has blue and red sections. !!! In winter you cannot get to the middle station by car and get on there !!!

The ski area of the Silvretta Montafon offers 246 km of marked runs of various levels of difficulty for an ideal distribution of friends of white sports in the ski areas in the Montafon (Silvretta-Montafon, Golm and Gargellen).

Our house in summer
In summer our house is surrounded by forests, meadows and sheep. There is enough space in and around the house to relax with your friends or family. Our groups also like to sit around the campfire and listen to or make music. The large terrace is ideal for barbecuing.

Or just relax on the large terrace while the children play in the sandpit and paddling pool!

Hiking, mountaineering, climbing. Our house is also an ideal starting point for numerous activities.

The Alpine valley Montafon is surrounded by three mountain ranges. In the northwest from the striking limestone cliffs of the Rätikon. To the south of the partially glaciated Silvretta. And in the northeast from the idyllic Verwall Mountains. And criss-cross, up and down, lead over 500 km of marked hiking trails over lush meadows, through forests, from hut to hut, past alpine inns, over heights and ridges to the peaks of the Montafon mountain ranges.

Paragliding:
The in-house launch site immediately above the guest house offers the best take-off and flight characteristics for hang-gliders and paragliders. Regardless of whether it is getting started in thermals or a flight into the sunset with reversing thermals getting weaker and weaker, this launch site can be reached by car and offers flight students as well as experienced cross-country pilots a variety of aviation options.
Tandem flights:
