Surrounded by various bodies of water, Résidence Lichtenvoorde is situated in the heart of Lichtenvoorde, the greenest community. Lichtenvoorde, which is sometimes called Keistad (boulder town), is a marvellous village with a rich history. The village has charming and inviting cafes, while also being surrounded by lots of natural beauty. Winding streams meander through the countryside, while farms and castles radiate an aura of bygone days. This gently rolling countryside alternates between forests, meadows and fields. You will also find the largest vineyards in the Netherlands here. Résidence Lichtenvoorde does not have any busy facilities to disturb your peace and quiet. It is the ideal park for relaxation and makes a great base for exploring this beautiful area. The area offers plenty to see and do for all ages. For example, there is the Megapret indoor/outdoor park in Lievelde, Freriks petting zoo and native plant garden in Winterswijk, the fire-fighting and storm museum in Borculo, the Ezelstal de Edelingen donkey sanctuary in Zelhem, Bahia water and sauna world in Bocholt, the Modelspoor Panorama model railroad museum in Aalten and the Walibi World and Het Land van Jan Klaassen amusement parks in Braamt.

The neatly furnished chalets are spread throughout the park. All chalets have a terrace with a picnic table.

Despite the fact that the park will do their utmost to enforce the prohibition on the lighting of fireworks, they cannot give a 100% guarantee that no actual fireworks will be lit on or in the direct vicinity of the park. Therefore, no rights may be derived from this indication.
• The national policy is aimed at minimizing social contacts with others and ensuring (hand) hygiene. At holiday parks the amenities such as entertainment, kids club, swimming pool, wellness and the restaurants may have altered opening hours or might be closed. As soon as it is possible according to government advice, facilities will be opened once again.
