The Villa Sunset, located directly at the foot of the Helderberg and in Cape Dutch style, offers with its good transport connections the ideal starting point for exploring tours to Cape Town, in the wine region around Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl, or in the Cederberge and the Kleine Karoo. Within a radius of approx. 50 km there are over 50 golf courses from inexpensive (Strand Golf Club) to off-the-beaten-path (Steenberg Golf Estate). Whale watching or a visit to the penguins of Simonstown are also worthwhile, as is a day at the beach in Strand or Gordons Bay.

After breakfast on your terrace in the invisible garden, which you prepare yourself in the fully equipped kitchen, you have free choice for your daily program. After returning, you can swim a lap in the heated pool or sweat a lap in the steam sauna.

Alternatively, you can read a book in the living room with a dining table for 8 people and a comfortable sofa corner to the music from the Bose stereo system.

For dinner, you can choose from the many top restaurants in Somerset West (e.g. Steffanie's Place or Sushi in Blue Water), or you can prepare your own dinner on an original swivel grill from Idar-Oberstein. Do not miss the sunset, which offers an unforgettable spectacle when the Hottentots Mountains and the Helderberg turn from their clouds to a magnificent red under their 'tablecloth'.

Spend the evening in the TV room with a German program or on the terrace on the first floor with a view of 240 degrees over the entire False Bay, the beach, Gordons Bay and the surrounding mountains. A hot bath in the terrace's hotpot with a glass of red wine will help you relax further and be prepared for the next day.

You spend the night either in the two bedrooms on the first floor (a shared bathroom), or in the ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom and shower / steam sauna.

You can talk to your loved ones on the landline phone. Internet access is possible via an inexpensive USB stick, which you can get in the Vodafone shop in Somerset West (unfortunately, WiFi has not yet made it to Villa Sunset).
