ABOUT THIS HOME-a vintage slice of history

This oh so cool home is perched HIGH on a hill in the best LOCATION in all of Sedona. Soul of Sedona is within walking distance to 2 of the most iconic and photographed sites in Arizona and probably in the whole USA, Secret Slickrock and Red Rock State Park. Wake up, grab your coffee and in 5 minutes you will be at the trail head for Secret Slickrock. (a vortex trail) and from there the views of Cathedral Rock are breathtaking. Red Rock State Park is a 5 minute walk the other direction and has numerous trails ( 5 miles of trails) , some that meander along the famous Oak Creek as well as swimming holes and many many beautiful views and famous places to photograph.

So now you know about this home that is uniquely Sedona. A stay at Soul of Sedona will give you a TRUE Sedona experience. The focal point of the home is the HUGE cathedral like window which looks out at the beautiful redrocks. This window was actually designed and installed by the same craftsman who designed and installed the iconic cathedral window in the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross. "Our" window is a replica-twin to the windows in the famous chapel.

Outside space- 3 spacious patios. The main patio has an outdoor dining table that seats 6, a barbecue ( both propane and charcoal) and a fire pit. There is a private patio off the master bedroom with intimate seating and a third patio off the front entrance with seating as well.

Sleeping- 2 roomy bedrooms with new memory foam king beds in the main house and 2 full bathrooms. The casita is a hike hut, yoga room, and lounging area.

Lounging-The living room is spacious and the dining room seats 6 -8 very comfortably and oh-what a view!

Cooking-The kitchen is gorgeous with top end appliances ( gas range, oven, fridge, dishwasher, garbage disposal ) and everything you need to cook and serve a gourmet meal if you are a foodie. I also have all small appliances including a microwave, a Kuerig, and a drip coffee maker.

Entertainment-A flat screen 55 inch smart TV in the living room with cable, internet/wifi, and tvs in the bedrooms with local channels. We also have a landline phone with free local and long distance in the states.

Things to consider.
Please note that there are 2 sets of stairs leading from the parking area to the home. Children & older people may have trouble if they have mobility issues. Please view photos to see the stairs! This property is not for you if you have mobility issues.

Please note that, although we try to keep propane filled, it is not guaranteed and renter may need to fill or swap tank if it is empty or runs out during their stay.

Canadian residents please note that re-payment for any extra transaction fee that is charged to host.

Please be advised that this home is in a very natural setting and because of that you will see critters both big ( deer, coyotes, javelinas) and small (snakes, squirrels, bats, birds and all kinds of insects). We use natural pesticides but even with that ( especially in summer months) you may discover a few small visitors in the home as they seek shelter from the summer heat and or monsoons. The home is very clean but this is life in Sedona!

Keep in mind that this property is out of the city limits (but still very close by) therefore you will not pay the CITY TAXes that amounts to about 7% of your stay!
