Description

This spacious holiday home, set in the small village of Odensvi, was renovated in 2017. The floors are new, wooden floors. On the bottom floor, you will find two entrances, one of which has a veranda. The large kitchen features the necessary kitchen appliances. In the living room, you'll find a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was built in 2017 and features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There's also one bedroom on the bottom floor, it is equipped with two single beds. On the second floor, you'll find two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds . Both bedrooms have a lot of wardrobe- and storage space. The spacious garden is all of 2000 square metres and has a lovely lawn and many fruit trees. The lake is only 600 metres from the house and this is where the boat is docked. Why not go fishing for pike and bass? You can buy a fishing permit in town. There's a public bathing area about five kilometres away, in Odensvi. It has a sandy beach, bathing docks, a bathing ladder, and shallow water. The sea is 18 kilometres away, a 20-minute drive through the scenic landscape of Småland, with it's beautiful forests and open landscapes. You have good chances of spotting elk, deer, and fox. The forests are rife with berries and mushrooms and there are a number of pretty lakes in the area. The closest grocery store is in Odensvi, five kilometres from the house. The picturesque town of Västervik offers a shopping centre and many different events in the summertime. It's 46 kilometres away. Vimmerby is only 35 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal, Glasriket, is another interesting destination. This is where the famous Kosta Boda glass is made. Welcome to beautiful Småland!
