The Poort van Zeeland Resort opened its doors in 2016. It's located on the natural island of Voorne-Putten, 5 km. from the centre of the South Holland Hellevoetsluis. The associated beaches, as well as the Haringvliet beach, are close by. The first beach is just a two minute walk away. You can enjoy a stay here the entire year round. Of course, you can relax on the beach, but there are also various water sports options. Various facilities can be found in the park itself. There is a restaurant, a snack bar, an (indoor) playground and you can rent a bicycle. An animation team organises a substantial variety activities. In the Adventuredome, your kids can climb to their heart's content, play laser tag and glow-in-the-dark mini golf.Near the park, you will find one of the most beautiful dune areas in Europe. There are various bird and plant species and Scottish Highlanders wandering around. The best way to discover this area is by hiking or bicycling. There are plenty of opportunities for day trips. Whether you visit a city (Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Middelburg are easily reached by car), want to be active or enjoy nature, it's all possible. When the weather is nice, a visit to the water park Aquapark Splash at Hellevoetsluis is definitely recommended. In short; the Poort van Zeeland Resort has all the ingredients for a successful holiday; sea, nature and lots of fun activities for the children and various possibilities for day trips.

The accommodations, built in Resort Poort van Zeeland in2016- 2018, are spread out over the resort. There are three different types. There's a compact 4-person chalet (NL-3221-35). This chalet features one bedroom with two single beds and a mezzanine (lower than standing height). This mezzanine can be reached by means of the steep staircase in the living room. The bedroom is separated from the living room by a curtain. There also is a more spacious ground-floor chalet (NL-3221-36). This chalet features three full-fledged bedrooms with two single beds each, some in a double set-up There also is the 6-person chalet (NL-3221-37) with three bedrooms with two single beds each, some in a double set-up. There're also chalets with a bunk bed istead of two single beds. The chalets are furnished in a modern and comfortable way. They all feature a complete kitchen with dishwasher and combination microwave (except for the NL-3221-35). You have access to a terrace with garden furniture. Each chalet has parking space for one car. In all chalets, except for the NL-3221-35, a cot can be placed. This is not possible in the bedroom though. The cot needs to be in the living room.

Specifics
• - Resort Poort van Zeeland is a resort under construction. This means that work is taking place on the site. This can cause inconvenience during the day, but naturally we ensure that the inconvenience is kept to a minimum.
• - The accommodations have a special Nespresso coffee machine, the cups of which can only be bought at the reception or at the shop.
• Type homes are divided into categories. Because these are private properties, they were decorated according to the owner’s personal taste and surface area, furnishing and size may vary – the level of comfort is as described, however. The arrangement of beds (sleeping places, separate beds or double beds) depends on the owner and cannot be determined beforehand. The pictures on display here serve as an example only
• For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
• Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
• The holiday home is exclusively available for recreation purpose only
• The national policy is aimed at minimizing social contacts with others and ensuring (hand) hygiene. At holiday parks the amenities such as entertainment, kids club, swimming pool, wellness and the restaurants may have altered opening hours or might be closed. As soon as it is possible according to government advice, facilities will be opened once again.
