Description

This cottage has been redone down to its bones. It is ready for year-round rental.

This cottage has central heat and a/c for year-round comfort. There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two large gathering spaces, and a nice size front porch. There are two tables for eating and playing games. The large table will seat 8+. There is an additional table to seat another 4+. There are enough beds to sleep 13. The upstairs has three bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. There is one bedroom on the first floor and a bathroom with a shower. Appliances we have them all - washer/ dryer, dishwasher, dual fuel stove, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker and a tankless hot water system.

There are board games inside the cottage along with different levels of books.

This cottage is in a gated community.
The gate fees are additional fees outside of the cottage rental fee.

Near Mazurik Boat Launch.

There is a plastic fish cutting table outside.

At no additional cost, an electric four-person golf cart is included for use during the week. The golf cart is available End of May until the Middle of October.

The internet is available year round. There is no cable TV.
The TV is a smart TV - if you have a subscription to a service it will work on the TV.

There are some bikes and other toys with wheels in the shed. There are also some items to play with in the shed.

A charcoal grill to be used during your week. You need to bring your own charcoal and matches

The cottage sits on a lot and a half. There is plenty of room for playing/relaxing in the grass.

Bedrooms up:
Front bedroom: queen bed with a twin bed
Middle bedroom: queen bed
Rear bedroom: two twin beds
2020 new mattresses for all beds upstairs

Bedroom first floor:
Two sets of single over double bunk beds
2020 new mattresses.

Linens are provided. As a convenience, all beds are pre-made with sheets prior to your arrival.
The sheets are being washed on the hottest cycle. Also Lysol Detergent Sanitizer is being added to the washing machine cycles.
All sheets will be cleaned upon departure by the cleaners. The renter will be responsible for taking the sheets off the beds, that were used, and placed near the washing machine. Please do not put the bedspread next to the washing machine. Leave the bedspread with the pillows on the bed. The renter is responsible for putting used towels and bath mats next to the washing machine. High-efficiency front loading washing machine detergent is included, to be used on the cottage linens only.

There are some pool/beach towels.

There is a community pool. Please check the lakesideohio web site for dates and details of when the pool is open and social distancing protocols.

There is a laundromat inside the gates of Lakeside on Second Street. If a lot of laundry needs to be done before departure.

Upon departure, guests must clean and put away all kitchenware.
Dishwasher detergent is under the kitchen sink.

Upon departure, all items from the shed need to be returned inside the shed. The shed doors need to be latched with the clip upon departure.

The location of this cottage is amazing. Close to Ohio's Most Beautiful mile of a walking trail. Laurel Ave. takes you right up to the new aquatic & wellness center and pickle-ball /tennis courts. It is a short walk to downtown. Walk out your front door and see the lake. The front upstairs bedroom has a view of the lake.

Please Note:
During the Chautauqua Season, there are gate fees, parking fees, and other policies, not included with the cottage rental. Please see the Lakeside website for any further details. During the Chautauqua Season rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Reduced rates before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

NO Pets

Do NOT use the fireplace.

The charcoal grill has to be used outside the cottage. Make sure the grill is placed in the middle of the yard when it is being used.

** There is a $250 cleaning fee applied to every reservation.


Renters need to bring everything consumable.
Example- toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, trash bags, etc.
Consumable items provided :
Cleaning supplies, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry detergent(for cottage linens only).

Parking:
There is one parking spot directly in front of the cottage, on the rocks.
There is a second parking spot. On the rocks between the tree at the street and the neighbors garage.
There is also parking along the neighbor's lawn across the way. Please don't park on the lawn. There is also parking on Third Street between Laurel Ave and Vine Street on the side of the street with the sidewalk.

Cancellation Policy:
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before the arrival date. You must contact the owner directly to talk about a cancellation.
