Description

Around nine kilometres from the centre of Zadar, the 4-bedroom Villa Aleesa is the ideal family holiday home. Spacious and well-equipped, this property in Murvica offers peace and privacy while being under a ten-kilometre drive from the beach and town.

Featuring expansive outdoor spaces, Villa Aleesa has a large heated pool with plenty of room to relax around it. Grab a poolside lounger or enjoy drinks on the covered dining terrace. There is also a larger, open dining space beside the barbecue. Children can have fun in the playground with swings, slides, and a trampoline, while everyone can play table tennis, pool, or basketball. The nearest beach is also just 8km away.

Inside the house, you have a comfortable, air-conditioned living area with ample seating, TV and dining table and chairs. Your kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge and everything you need to prepare meals.

The four double bedrooms come with en suite bathrooms and offer access to balcony terraces. While these rooms can comfortably accommodate eight guests, adding up to four more with extra beds and space in the living room is possible.

Villa Aleesa is a modern property in a quiet location, with lots to explore in the local area. The city of Zadar has become a popular visitor destination with its mix of history and intriguing cultural attractions. It’s ideal to stay close to the Kornati Islands, just off the coast, or to the stunning National Parks of Paklenica or Plitvice Lakes, further inland. In the city itself, be sure to head for the waterfront and the Roman Forum.

The gateway to the nearby Kornati Islands, Zadar, is well worth a visit. Villa Aleesa is just ten kilometres from Zadar Airport, making it easily accessible. The city offers a good mix of modern amenities and historic sights.

The Old Town is sure to be the part of town you’ll want to focus on. Head for the Roman Forum, alongside the Archbishop’s Palace and the Church of St Donat, to see its sights. The Cathedral of St Anastasia is also worth your time, especially if you climb the bell tower, which offers a fine view across the region. If you fancy sampling the excellent local cuisine, you’ll find no shortage of opportunities, but Narodni trg, the Old Town’s centrepiece square, is an excellent place to get a feel for local life, too.

Back on the mainland, you have the wonders of Croatia’s National Parks waiting for you. It won’t take long to reach rugged Paklenica, while Plitvice Lakes is further away but an absolute must when you’re in this region. Indeed, this impressive UNESCO World Heritage site is Croatia’s top visitor attraction.
