This holiday house is a special wooden vineyard cottage in Novo mesto. It is a part of Dolenjska region and vine area well known by wine called Cvicek. House is completely on its own plot, without any noise or other distractions in vicinity. It is special for its roof covered with straw and a wooden construction, standardly equipped. From the balcony you can enjoy your morning, day or evening view down to the valley. House is accessible in all seasons, only that in winter time you are suggested to leave your car 100 m above the house, due to steep slope that leads to the house. In the ground floor there is a wine cellar, in the first floor there is a kitchen combined with dining room from which guests can enter the mansard by very high stairs. There is a double bed in the mansard. From the dining room you enter a bedroom and from bedroom you access the bathroom. Floors are not connected from the inside, only by steps from the outside. This is a speciality of almost all vineyard cottages. There is a thermal spa called Smarjeske toplice 5 km away. In the vicinity of your cottage there is a resort called Otocec, where you can play golf or enjoy the nature itself. The whole area offers lots of various outdoor activities as sports and discovering nature. There is also plenty of content for the fans of historical heritage. All guests are kindly welcomed with homemade local dishes. You can use a vine cellar free of charge either for vine tasting or an additional living room.
