Description
La Mouthe is spacious and lovingly restored with a large ancient open fire and marble bathrooms. Secluded and surrounded by its own private forests to roam in, it also has a 11x5m pool and terraces for alfresco dining and barbecues. Its underfloor heating makes it cosy and a pleasure for winter breaks. La Mouthe has 4 bedrooms and cot. There are indoor and outdoor games for adults and children including a trampoline and basketball, books, DVDs and a TV. Wifi internet access is complementary. We are in the centre of the Bergerac and Monbazillac wine areas and there is horse riding, canoeing, golf, hot air ballooning on offer. There are many sightseeing spots around and the famous prehistoric sites of Les Eyzies and Lascaux are only a day trip away. Access is simple as it is close to the airport and Bergerac. There is a small village 3km walk or bike ride away which has all the daily necessities. Less than 10mins away is the medieval village of Issigeac with its famous market. Less than 10km away are 2 large shopping centres.
