The villa is large and unique, accommodating up to 24 guests across three separate buildings: the Main House, Guest Cottage, and Great House, all in one estate. Privacy is guaranteed as a separate private gated entrance is available upon arrival, and other rental homes nearby can be rented to house additional traveling staff should the need arise.
The creation of Laughing Waters was put in the extremely capable hands of Larry Warren, who featured quintessential Caribbean architecture and mixed it meticulously and perfectly with
plush furnishings, design details, bold chandeliers, and marine features that bring the beach lifestyle indoors but with impeccable taste and refinement.
As you get to the Main House, you reach the outdoor pavilion, one of the most coveted areas of the estate, as it offers all sorts of lavish experiences. Imagine yourself lounging by the pool with a glass of sparkling bubbly in hand or a refreshing cocktail, enjoying your favorite film on the big screen in the open-air entertainment area, and making your taste buds tingle with an array of local delicacies all served informally in the treehouse dining area. An experience right out of a movie!
To ensure that a busy day of activities, whether social or experiential, is followed by a restorative good night's sleep, Laughing Waters is very well prepared to offer the private spaces you need to get that and some private time and pampering.
The Main House, comprised of three stories, houses eight full ensuite bedrooms with central air-conditioning and large walk-in closets to accommodate all your wardrobe needs while away from home. A few of these rooms can be considered master suites as they include separate living rooms, secluded patios, sunlit soaking tubs, and other relaxing amenities in the privacy of their quarters. It is up to you to choose the one that best suits your needs.
The Guest House sits on the other side of the estate and houses four ensuite bedrooms. This comfortable abode also houses an indoor-outdoor dining area as well as a living area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an office for those who need to get work done. While on the subject, Laughing Waters offers secured WiFi which is accessible from anywhere on the property. Another added perk is the Bluetooth-enabled surround sound, which allows your favorite music to follow you wherever you fancy it.
The gardens between the Main House and the Guest House are Asian-inspired and include lovely features that enhance the estate, such as koi ponds and weaving paths that are highlighted by the use of lush, exotic plants and towering palm trees. These strategically lead you to the Great House, the chic, more formal, entertaining setup at Laughing Waters. Here is where lavish dinners are offered and are sure to impress the unimpressionable. The cozy Art-Deco bar is perfect for pre-dinner drinks or for getting together before a movie night at the private cinema. No dull nights to be had when so many sensational options are available to you and your crew!
If healthy living is important to you, this villa is also prepared to support you in your choice with a fully outfitted gym, and just outside the Great House, you can also find a large expanse of soft grass, which is perfect for morning yoga or soul-searching meditation sessions.
We did not forget the children either! A fully outfitted kid's playroom is tucked away nearby, where we can arrange for nannies to take care of the little ones while you enjoy the other perks of the estate. Sandy Lane Beach is very near, too, where private, shaded loungers are readied every day. A stroll over to the Beach Club Bar will guarantee refreshing drinks and some fun meeting other people, or if you are feeling lazy, just reach out to your butlers who will be more than happy to assist.
Morning walks along an almost deserted beach are a wonderful way to start the day. Whether you choose to sit back and relax at the villa or enjoy a variety of adventures such as water sports, or just simply watch the comings and goings of beach life, you are sure to find your days filled with an endless array of things to do. The location is unique, being close to the beach and having plenty of amenities nearby. Turtles can be seen a few meters offshore, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters is excellent. You will also find some of the best restaurants are just a short walk away.
For the more active, you can participate in many sporting activities provided by local vendors. Our concierge team can arrange all of these services for you. Before the day is done, you can take a swim with the turtles that inhabit the bay or snorkel through the coral found only 100 feet away.
