The villa stands in grounds of 2 hectares, facing due south from its hillside position with a panoramic view of the Massif des Maures and Grimaud's medieval castle . The large pool just below the villa enjoys the same view and privacy with sun loungers and umbrellas.
The master bedroom has double doors opening onto the garden, with good cupboard space, a large bathroom with a separate WC and bidet. Bedroom 2 has twin single beds, double doors opening on to its own terrace, good cupboard space, and a shower room with a basin and WC. Bedroom 3 is above Bedroom 2 with the same cupboard space, separate shower room with basin and WC.
All bedrooms have air-conditioning, mosquito blinds and solid shutters.
The sitting room has 3 French windows opening on to the large terrace, two with mosquito netting. Inside there are two sofas and a couple of armchairs, coffee table, a large, full bookcase, TV with free to air English channels and the option to have some French or German channels on request.
The kitchen is well equipped with oven, induction hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, coffee making machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and electric mixer. There is a tumble drier in the garage. French windows open onto the covered terrace where there is an extendable teak table with seating for up to 8. Chair cushions are provided..
There is a separate WC just off the hall.
Above the hall there is a small mezzanine office which can be used for extra accommodation if necessary.
All towels and linen are provided.
The house has WIFI. There are outside shutters for all doors and windows.
The garage provides good space for a car.

The surrounding countryside offers numerous walks.
The villa is very private but within a couple of kilometres the ancient village of La Garde Freinet offers a boulangerie, mini super market, pharmacy, doctors, antique and clothes shops plus numerous restaurants and bars. Twice a week there are markets in the village square which are well worth visiting.
Further afield there is Grimaud with its castle, Cogolin which is less touristy and retains a very French feel and has a large Leclerc supermarket and most famously of all St. Tropez.
In the area there are numerous attractions : go-kart racing, water sports at Port Grimaud, Azur Park funfair by the Geant Casino supermarket, golf, tennis, paint balling. La Pampelonne beach, near St. Tropez offers numerous exclusive beach side restaurants with fine food, comfortable sun loungers often accompanied by a fashion show.
