Dome, the cottage "Le Paradis" is ideally located between the Chaîne des Puys and the Massif
Sancy; in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes.
In Orcival, we welcome you in a preserved, calm and rejuvenating environment.
After 36 months of work, we have taken up the challenge of giving a new lease of life to a
abandoned farmhouse.
Now, the cottage Le Paradis offers its generous spaces (500M²) and warm:
charming suites with private bathrooms and toilets, indoor heated pool,
terrace with barbecue and green area.
You will find all the amenities and equipment necessary for your relaxation,
serenity and security.
In good weather, nothing like a picnic with family or friends on the verge of
stream says the sioule at the edge of the house.
And in winter, the fire will bring a note of poetry to your evenings.
Depending on the composition of your group and your wishes, you can rent from one to five
suites, rent by the day, by the night on weekends or by the week.

You will have enough crockery, a refrigerator with compartment
freezer, a laundry freezer, a 4-burner ceramic hob

● The Oriental suite of 28 m2, with accessibility standards PMR and its room
vaulted bath, with the colors of orient, will charm you.
● A covered and heated swimming pool will guarantee moments of relaxation and

In the 1st floor:
● The 28m2 Nature Suite, with direct access from the road (ideal for
welcome friends independently)
● The Marine Suite with its exceptional view of the basilica Notre Dame
d'Orcival (A masterpiece of the Romanesque art Auvergnat, Classified Monument
Historical).
2nd floor:
● The "Basilique" suite with its exceptional view on the belfry of our lady
Orcival.
● The "Volcano" suite under its crawling roof with private bathroom and WC.
Ideal for young teenagers.
On the floors, mezzanines serve the suites on both sides of the building,
thus preserving the tranquility and privacy of the occupants. These
mezzanines offer occasional play, reading and meditation spaces.

free at your disposal. In case of breakage, do not hesitate to report it to the

A special effort has also been made to take into account all types of
disability. The management of the Gîte is particularly happy to be able to offer its
benefits to the greatest number.
Accessibility standards have been implemented and a suite of PMR standards is dedicated
if needed, clients with a disability.

To discover: the gardens of the Château de Cordès, the Romanesque basilica, the Tuilière rocks
and Sanadoire, the lake and the Guéry waterfall, the rickety rock, the Lake Servières, ...
And do not forget the local specialties and know-how: Saint-Nectaire cheese, Bleu de
Laqueuille or fourme de Rochefort, cured meats, enamelled lava ...
New summer / winter:
Nature walk, treasure hunt, orienteering and sports circuits
with GPS guidance, on foot, mountain bike, snowshoe or ski.

Orcival is also a place to practice cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at Domaine Nordique
du Guéry (labeled Nordic France - 3 firs).
The Notre Dame Basilica is a masterpiece of Auvergne's Romanesque art. It encloses
a statue of Virgin in majesty covered with vermeil and many capitals
storied.
During the pilgrimage of the Ascension, the statue of the Virgin is carried on the backs of men
barefoot, in procession, to the place called "Tomb of the Virgin".
Lac Servières: This is a maar (crater lake). We can discover strange
alignments of mounds and depressions in the middle of the summer pastures which surround the lake. This
are lesvestiges tras (former temporary burons).
