Social distance at the Silver Sands! With only 2 cottages and 2 suites on 2 oceanfront acres, there is plenty of space for our guests. There are no indoor common areas and multiple outdoor areas on the property; and, of course, the beach. The two cottages have private patios and the large, multi-level courtyard has 3 tables for our suites.

Kemp's cottage is situated in a quiet, oceanfront retreat on nearly 2 acres of natural, dune property with the pristine beaches of Anastasia Island. A perfect place for the person that enjoys walks through a natural environment, the beach, swimming and all the area has to offer. It is located just south of historic St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city. Originally, this was the owners house and they built additional units starting at the back corner of the house which have now been configured into suites. Kemp's Cottage was entirely renovated in with a new kitchen, washer/dryer, HD TV, 50 mbps wireless internet, new queen sleeper sofa and more. Note, the fireplace is not operational. Enjoy beautiful white sand beaches with swimming, surfing, fishing, barbecue in a private, natural setting. We also supply beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, small cooler, carts to tote down the beach path and much more.

With only 2 cottages and 3 suites on the entire oceanfront property, it feels like your own, private tropical escape. Pelican Cottage, Kemp's Cottage, Hawksbill Suite, Monarch Suite and Ridley Suite are all listed on VRBO and available for rental. The extensive renovations included replacing most of the systems, insulation, walls, new windows, doors, bathrooms and kitchens, providing luxurious accommodations to the perfect St. Augustine, beachfront vacation. All mattresses and sleeper have been replaced in 2018 and 2019.

The newly landscaped property includes many tall palms, flowering tropical plants and places to relax. When you follow the path to the beach you'll come across many native plants and will get to know the original residents of the land including the gopher tortoise, the wildlife that their burrows support, the monarch butterflies as they migrate, and many species of birds. Lounge in the courtyard, cool off in the pristine waters of Crescent Beach, surf at one of the best surfing beaches in Florida, visit one of the many great restaurants, or cook in your well-equipped kitchen.
