The Seagrape Cottage, 451 Douglas Avenue. Live the special downtown cottage experience in beautiful fully updated style. Our home has everything for you, new appliances (fridge, range, microwave), new cabinets with granite countertops, new bathroom. Master bedroom (Queen bed), 2nd sleeping room (Full bed), Family room, Kitchen, 4-seat Dining Room (also great sun room, such a nice space).
Lovely on-site full-size washer/dryer “mini-cottage”. Private outdoor 4-chair dining table, private outdoor 2-chair reading/wine(!) area -- SO nice, sit and watch the world go by, with a breeze in your hair. WiFi, Cable, flat-screen TV, and books. Private, off-street parking space, parking lot shared with two other cottages.
Douglas Avenue is our “2nd Main Street”, so close to everything, but not as much hustle and bustle as downtown. It’s a great little residential area for you to explore: walk 4 blocks to Main St/Marina, 1 block Blue Jays Stadium, 1 block St. Joseph Sound and Linear Park (sunsets!), 100 yards to Pinellas Trail (walk/run/bike), 1 block Dunedin Library.
An easy 15 minute drive to amazing Clearwater Beach with its expansive highly reviewed white sand beaches (go anytime you want, but live in our nice quiet relaxing hideaway, a bit separated from the mass of the crowds).
Another quick 10 minute trip to award winning Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands, some of the best beaches anywhere.
What a wonderful day trip you have waiting for you to downtown Tarpon Springs, just 20 minutes up the road, more great dining options, lots of history, and fascinating little shops with local merchants sharing their treasures.
And then of course, our crown jewel, Downtown Dunedin -- fantastic range of fine and casual dining options, eclectic boutique shops, several of the coolest craft breweries with in/outdoor seating, a great little ice cream shop, 4 parks, and the marina with fishing/walking pier.
