Nearby, the pretty coastline has miles and miles of sandy beaches and small coves just waiting to be discovered. A selection of small coves are within walking distance from the holiday home and are suitable for paddling, snorkelling, kayaking and windsurfing. The surrounding area is referred to as Abers, which refers to the several scenic estuaries which are perfect for walking, fishing and a range of other activities. The area is also home to a variety of prehistoric megaliths and ancient remains, which are well worth a visit. If you're keen to sample some local Breton produce, be sure to explore the nearby villages, many of which have traditional churches and markets where you can sample some of the local crafts and produce. Altrnatively, head further afield and discover the city of Brest, which is roughly 30km away. The city offers a warm welcome with its frequent portside marine festivals, Pont de l'Iroise bridge and renowned aquarium.
