Mas Saurine is a Catalan farmhouse, dating from 1840, that has been lovingly restored to give comfortable holiday accommodation whilst retaining its charm and character. It is situated in a tranquil location, yet close to endless miles of golden sandy beaches and the high mountain peaks of the Pyrénées. Nearby are the villages of Joch and Vinça with local shopping. More comprehensive facilities are provided by Prades and Ille-sur-Têt, both 15 minutes away. This well-equipped property is approached by a quiet country lane and has an enclosed courtyard. There are stunning views of Mount Canigou and the Pyrenean foothills and the area is excellent for cycling, trekking and mountain climbing. Wander around the Catalan city of Perpignan, a city strongly influenced by Barcelona. Its sunny, palm lined squares and good food and wine make it a delightful place to visit. Laze on the large, golden sandy beaches including Canet, Saint-Cyprien and Argelès-sur-Mer or maybe take a day trip into Spain.
