Description

Windward, at The Tryall Club, is a majestic home offering classical colonial elegance, peerless comfort and world-class amenities, perched overlooking the glistening Caribbean Sea.

This sumptuous home's exterior showcases the best of quintessential plantation style architecture: formally symmetrical lay out and sleek marble pillars with long balconies and balustrades, along with the hallmark cedar roofs and jalousie windows.

Set overlooking the glistening pool and sparkling seas, there is a natural interplay between indoor and outdoor living, and when lit up at night, the house and pool are a dazzling sight. Outdoor living is executed stylishly, with an array of outdoor lounge spaces, a pool-side bar and abundant dining spots from family meals to intimate moments on the balconies, with the characteristic use of natural timber and wicker alongside vibrant aqua and cobalt blue fabrics for that breezy sea-side feel.

Windward is a great party house, with a five speaker sound system in both the house and the pool bar, ideal for rocking pool parties with the rum cocktails flowing. Executed with indulgence in mind, this unapologetically opulent home panders to guests' every whim, from delectable chef-prepared meals to pool-side lounging to popping into the golf buggy down to the club.

The interiors are vivacious and airy, offering an abundance of designer flair, blending both European finesse and Caribbean ease. With glittering chandeliers, contemporary art, and chic, polished mahogany furnishings along with art-nouveau inspired fabrics and cool marble flooring.

Winward offers six bedrooms with six en-suite bathrooms (the beds can be arranged as king sized beds, or as two kings with eight twins). All bedrooms have HD cable television, remote control air conditioning, safes, ceiling fans and glorious Travertine marble en-suite bathrooms. Four bedrooms open to private furnished balconies and lovely sea views from both bedroom and bathroom. Two bedrooms downstairs open to furnished terraces, gardens and soft lawn.

With a pool table, football goals, an array of entertainment options and full staff offering, guests will barely need to leave the comfort and gracious confines of this impressive abode.

Montego Bay glitters at night across the water, whilst at every turn guests can absorb the changing colours of the Caribbean Sea. Windward offers the last word in luxury, no detail is left under thought, whilst guests can enjoy that low-key and understated feel of having their own pad and privacy in combination with world-class resort standards.

#### Location
With access to all the amenities at The Tryall Club, guests at Windward can enjoy world-class resort convenience and amenities. From tennis, to spa, golf and gym, pools and of course the beach, this location has it all.

Set perched above the glistening waters of Montego Bay, on Jamaica's north coast, this home is in a premium spot. The north of this lush Caribbean island is known for its glitzy developments, crystalline waters and coral reef rich coast, whilst away from the tourist hotspots, there lies a fascinating, colourful culture with music built into its rhythms (birthplace of reggae) and craggy remote mountains through to tropical waterfalls and banana groves.

Montego Bay is an energetic hub of buzzing nightlife, downtown market life, duty-free shopping and parties galore; ‘Mo' Bay' (as it is known locally) is Jamaica's second largest town after Kingston (Bob Marley's birthplace). When it comes to beaches, there is everything from the celebrity dotted Doctor's Cave Beach, which has an 100-year-old bathing club, through to less showy Cornwall Beach, known for its tasty fried fish.

Locally known “Hip Strip,” (Gloucester Avenue), runs parallel to the oceanfront, offering a colourful and vivid three kilometre stretch of bars, boutiques, street vendors and restaurants, whilst in contrast, Downtown is worth a visit, from the cobblestone Sam Sharpe Square, to patty shops, artisans and music vendors through to historical sites like the Gully Market, or local eateries offering an eclectic creole blend of African spices, jerk and plantain, or a shot of rum depending on the mood!

Holden's Reef (100m off-shore) is part of the barrier reef complex that covers much of Jamaica's north coast. Taking a kayak out to the live reef will offer a tropical treat of colourful fish and coral, with snorkelling in shallow water or deeper waters for scuba diving.

The north coast of Jamaica consists of the diverse parishes of St Mary, St Ann and Trelawny, the gateway to spectacular scenery once visitors venture a little from the resort complexes; sweeping cane and coconut plantations, rolling farmlands, mangrove swamps and craggy terrain ideal for hiking, or for a journey to a reggae Mecca, to Bob Marley's birthplace where local Rasta guides will proudly offer tours.

Whether it be deserted coastline or hikes inland to hidden waterfalls, magical coral reef journeys, or bubbling local culture intermixed with shiny tourist hubs, live music or water sports, the north coast of Jamaica has it all.
