Dating back since the 1800's, the Homestead has welcomed many guests and families in its lifetime. It has been updated but still holds the original character that it has always possessed. Perfect venue for birthdays, family reunions, small weddings, etc, there is no comparison in the hill country! Hit Main Street of Fredericksburg (a 15 minute drive) for wonderful shops, restaurants, art galleries, museums, and sight seeing! Beautiful wineries are a quick 10 minutes away! High end furnishings, comfortable linens, a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea, 2 king size beds, 1 queen bed, 2 twins, 2 updated bathrooms, washer, dryer, dish TV, WiFi, and a BBQ grill are all included in your stay. The bunkhouse is now included in your stay which has 3 twins and a bathroom. The Diamond Y Saloon is also included. Once a barn, it is now a family friendly bar with a pool table, shuffleboard, game table, bar seating, TV, and kitchenette. It also has a powder bathroom, full size fridge, and ice maker. Guests have access to the pavilion, playground and to the front 4 acres where they can walk, picnic, or even try to fish in the little pond. Guests can also go visit our rescue donkeys, Cupcake and Sassy along with our Longhorn "Little Lyndon" named after Lyndon B. Johnson. The LBJ ranch is only 10 minutes away and is a beautiful, historical site to go visit. Additional venue fees apply if hosting an event. Add the dogtrot cabins to fit 4 more guests!
