Description

DESCRIPTION
Great cabin for spring & summer adventures such as hiking, river fishing, lake fishing, boating, mountain biking, dirt biking, ATV's and off-roading. Great for families to enjoy nature, camping and campfires. The property is centrally located to all the lakes, mountains, rivers and forestry roads so you will never run short of things to do. Hunters can also enjoy the cabin in the fall during hunting season.

THE SPACE
A cozy 800 sqft log chalet with wood burning stove, outdoor 3-person hot tub, wood fire-pit, picnic-table & BBQ. Private 0.65 acres across from Eagle Pass trail. Tons of parking for trucks & trailers. Sleeps up to 5 single adults or a family of 6. An easy 35 to 45 minute commute to all the local mountains and lakes between Sicamous Lakes & Revelstoke. You will never run short of things to do. Also great during hunting season and for snowmobilers, skiers & snowboarders during winter season fun.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests can access all parts of the property except for the shop, which is off limits. Also, please remember that there is wildlife in the area. Please do not leave food outside and always keep the cabin door closed so smaller animals will not enter and make it their home.

GUEST INTERACTION
I am available by phone, text or email anytime. If it is an emergency then please call or text. There are also 2 site managers available upon request for any urgent issues that may arise and for snow removal.

CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS
There is a digital deadbolt on the front door. I will message you the code on check-in-day. To unlock the door simply enter the code and wait for the lock to open. You can manually lock the door from the inside. When leaving for the day simply close the door and press the lock symbol and the door will lock.

NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW
Also close by is the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge and Hot Pools just 5 minutes down the road towards Revelstoke. The Perry River is just a 3 minute walk down the road and Eagles River across HWY #1.

GETTING AROUND
If you need overflow parking then use the Eagles Pass staging area just seconds from the cabin. The nearest Liquor Store and Grocery Store (Malakwa Supermarket), is just 6 minutes down the road towards Sicamous on your left. The Burner Bar & Grill is located in the same area. Don't worry if you miss the first exit as there is a second exit shortly after (30 seconds), also on the left. The nearest gas station with Marked Fuel,(Malakwa Cafe & Gas), is just 1 minutes past the Malakwa Supermarket located on the right. Sicamous is just 8 minutes after that.

A NOTE FROM THE HOST:
Thank you for choosing our cabin for your vacation. We hope you enjoy the cabin and surrounding area as mush as we do. We ask that you treat and respect the cabin as if it were yours by keeping it clean and tidy, and adhering to the rules.

We supply over 35 essential items for your convenience. These include; toilet paper, paper towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hand soap, washing machine detergent, dryer sheets, pillows, linens, towels, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, recycling bags, olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tinfoil, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, toaster, drip coffee machine, coffee grinder, French press, blender, cutting boards, knives, cutlery, pots, pans, dishes, cups, oven mitts, first-aid-kit, 3 fire extinguishes, 3 emergency flashlights and an 3 emergency lantern and 3 emergency candles.

The cabin is on well and septic. The well water is filtered by a Brine Water Softener and a new Katalox Filtration System. Fresh drinking water is supplied by a Reverse Osmosis Filtration tap next to the kitchen tap and a 5 Gallon Water Dispenser on top of the fridge.

There is a maximum of 5 single adults or a family of 6 at any one time in the cabin due to the small space and septic. Anymore than that will stress the water and septic systems. We will charge additional fees if we find out there are more than 6 guests at any one time.

You must let us know if you are bringing pets. The pets must be kept off the furniture and beds. Also, please make sure that their droppings are cleaned up so there are no surprises for the next guests.

If there are no fire bans in affect then campfires are allowed in the designated fire pit. You can use eight (8) quarter blocks of wood from the wood shack per night and no extra cost. Additional quarter blocks cost $2.00 per unit. If you use more than the allotted amount of blocks during your stay then please let me know how many extra you have used and leave the corresponding amount of cash on the kitchen table. You can also gather up fallen branches from the surrounding forested area to burn in the fire pit as well. Please keep the fire burn within the fire pit perimeter.
