Welcome to this little paradise called "Es Capritx". The petite, at first glance unassuming villa knows how to charm you with its oasis-like dream garden and the interior, lovingly furnished down to the tiniest detail. In a wonderfully rural, slightly elevated location, you can enjoy wonderful views of the picturesque village of Artá and the neighbouring Capdepera. The south-facing, renovated house is surrounded by an incredibly beautiful landscape: Spacious lawns with plenty of space to play for our younger guests, a small pond with goldfish, numerous fabulous flowering plants, Mediterranean trees, and tall palm trees define the harmonious picture. Relaxation is guaranteed in the hammock. By the way - the same is true for a swim in the huge pool, which is surrounded by a sun terrace with a sufficient number of loungers and sunshades. The table tennis table and the basketball hoop provide athletic fun, both surely also be appreciated by slightly older visitors. There are plenty of appealing outdoor seating spots with timeless wicker furniture. A terrace is situated in the extension of the pool terrace; it has a sun sail that provides protection from the sun. If you continue through the adjacent lounge around the house, you will first pass a more than practical outdoor kitchen first. Then you reach a totally romantic, covered dining area, which is located directly in front of the kitchen, so that food can be prepared easily. So nothing stands in the way of a sociable evening barbecue.

The old building has been completely renovated inside. The decor is delightfully unpretentious, but selected with unique loving devotion to detail. Mocca-coloured floor tiles, wood-beamed ceilings, visible quarry-stone masonry, gleaming white walls, and some modern details not only testify to the excellent taste of the friendly owners, but give the villa a certain finesse which is not commonplace. From the cosy lounge, you reach the kitchen via the open-plan dining room with rustic wooden table. The kitchen is simple but nevertheless equipped with every imaginable comfort (after all, there is also an outdoor kitchen that can be used). The cosy reading corner provides a touch of oriental exoticism to the harmonious furnishing concept. Finally, a comfortable night's rest can be found in the three double rooms, one of which has two separate beds, making it ideal as a children's room. The master bedroom offers an en-suite bathroom. The other two charmingly decorated bedrooms share a second bathroom with tub, although there is a separate shower enclosure. The feeling of well-being is rounded off by charming decorative details such as wooden figurines and other high-quality artefacts with a touch of delicate nostalgia. A perfect place to relax - above all, you can find time for yourself and your family.

The remarkable villa "Es Capritx" fits perfectly into this region around the medieval town of Artà, which is approximately a 5-minute drive away. Every Tuesday, there is a weekly market in the centre around the Plaça del Conquerodor. There, you will discover a whole range of culinary specialities from across the region, as well as selected arts and crafts. Just enjoy the colourful hustle and bustle with a café con leche in one of the local bars that line the marketplace. The authenticity of this medieval village with its exquisite boutiques and excellent restaurants constitutes its charm and appeal. The villa is easily accessible because it is located close to a country road, audible depending on the wind, leading to Artà and the surrounding villages, so the beaches can be visited very quickly. For a change, you can visit the bustling beach and harbour promenade of Cala Ratjada, which can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. On the way there, you will see numerous signs pointing to beautiful natural beaches, so you can feel free to take a break along the way to take a refreshing dip or just catch a glimpse of the sea. Pure holiday.
