Description

Relax and rewind with family or friends in this well-equipped three-bedroom cottage that sleeps six, either in six single beds or two doubles and a twin. Guests will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the estate, the surrounding natural beauty and the variety of adventuring opportunities on their doorstep including the ski slopes of Glenshee, which are a short drive away.
The upstairs bedroom has twin beds and its own en-suite shower room with power-shower. The two ground floor bedrooms can be set up as twin bedrooms or zip-and-linked to make super king-size beds. They are adjacent to each other and share a shower room with walk-in shower, which is up four steps.
The light and spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area has an open fire and wall-mounted 70” Plasma TV with Sky Sports and Movie packages included. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher, double oven and hob and microwave. A washing machine is kept in a cupboard in an adjacent room/hallway.
Skiers and snowboarders will benefit from the proximity to the popular Glenshee Snowsports Centre, just ten miles away.
Walkers will love the Cateran Trail, with the second of the five stages of the 64-mile Trail passing through the estate. This stage takes you along a beautiful moorland route to the Trail's highest point between Strathardle and Glenshee, offering spectacular views of glens and rugged peaks.
The Estate also offers an ideal base for exploring the Cairngorms National Park. With a choice of 55 Munros (four of which are the highest mountains in the UK) for beginner and experienced hill walker to conquer. Kayakers and Canoeists will enjoy exploring the challenging network of rivers (instructor led beginner sessions can be arranged).
If you prefer to enjoy the wild highland scenery from the comfort of your car, you’ll love the breath taking 90-mile Snowroads stretch. The route, starting in the nearby market town of Blairgowrie, takes you past the Dalnaglar Estate and up through the East Cairngorms to the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey.
