Jurassic Manor holds a wonderful location in the picture-postcard Dorset village of Symondsbury, just a short distance outside of the popular market town of Bridport. West Dorset makes a wonderful home for those wanting to explore the great outdoors, with 300 miles of countryside footpaths to enjoy.

While the Manor boasts endless charm and character with traditional stone walls and mullioned windows, the interiors and fun, quirky and full of colour. The living spaces offer plenty of room for the whole group to gather and enjoy, on the lower ground floor is the wood panelled ballroom, which can be set up as a games room, a party space complete with a grand piano or simply a place for the children to run around in. Up a short flight of stairs is the open-plan living area which boasts French windows opening up onto the beautiful gardens. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the tools a budding chef could possibly need to whip up a delicious meal.

Jurassic Manor can comfortably accommodate up to twenty-two guests across its eleven well-appointed bedrooms, seven feature double beds, while four are twins. In the attic, one of the bedrooms is accessed via another making the space ideally suited to families with young children.

Outside, guests will enjoy exploring the beautifully-kept gardens, outdoor games can be provided, including croquet and badminton, which are bound to entertain the younger guests. A barbecue has been built into one of the old stone walls and dining facilities are available, perfect for enjoying a yummy al fresco meal.

The famous Jurassic coastline is just a short distance from the Manor, the cloest beaches at West Bay, are just a 10-minute drive away. The scenery here is truly special, the East Beach is a sloping, shingle beach backed by magnificent sandstone cliffs while the West Beach is popular with families, set in a protected cove it is ideal for paddling. The resort of Lyme Regis is just 20-minutes away, with a sandy beach, fabulous coastal walks and excellent independent shopping it is a must-visit. Buzzing Weymouth is just 35-minutes away, it makes an ideal destination for those with children, with excellent family-friendly attractions including the Sea Life Centre and Sandworld.
