Whitby Lake Manor holds a magnificent location on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. The house boasts a tranquil, lakeside position in between the fishing village of Sandsend and the popular town of Whitby. There is plenty to see, do and explore right from the doorstep, with wonderful near-by beaches, excellent restaurants and historical attractions all within a short journey away.

With elegant interiors and furnishings throughout, this extravagant manor house makes a truly luxurious base for families or groups of friends wanting to stay in style while exploring this gorgeous area of the UK. Whitby Lake Manor can comfortably accommodate up to twelve guests across six spacious and well-appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor is the impressive modern kitchen which comes complete with breakfast bar and dining facilities and all the amenities a budding chef could possibly need. Of course, if you'd rather be relaxing, you can arrange for a private chef to do all the work for you! Upstairs on the first floor, in order to allow guests to enjoy the fantastic lake views, is the large, open-plan living and dining area, this is an excellent space for the whole family to gather and spend an evening. Also on this level is the master bedroom with king-size bed, balcony access and en-suite bathroom and a second double room, again with en-suite bathroom. Upstairs on the second floor, are the remaining three bedrooms, each boasting a zip & link bed, allowing the rooms to be set up as either a king-size double or twin room. These bedrooms share the use of a family bathroom which is on the same level.

Outside, there is a private lawned garden which is completely enclosed making it a fantastic space for the children to run around and enjoy. The dining terrace, which come complete with barbecue, overlooks the lake and makes the perfect place to spend a warm evening dining al fresco.

Guests of Whitby Lake Manor have access to the Estate's private spa, complete with swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and a gym, for a small additional charge, making this the ultimate retreat for those in need of some TLC!

Whitby Lake Manor is located in the village of Sandsend and with its excellent golden beach, it is perfect for families. For foodies, there are a range of excellent eateries, with everything from simple beach shacks and tea rooms to restaurants with seriously fine dining. The popular town of Whitby is less than ten minutes away, steeped in history, there is plenty to see, do and explore here, including climbing the 199 steps up to the famous Abbey, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and for the brave, the Dracula Experience on the seafront. Shopaholics will enjoy exploring the quirky streets and visiting the boutique shops, while adventurers will enjoy walking in the North Yorks Moors National Park, again less than ten minutes away.
