This comfortable country house Casa dei Cipressi is located in a very panoramic position overlooking the beautiful plain of Cortona. There are many comfortable spots from the garden where the guests can enjoy this beautiful view. Cortona can be reached by walking through a lovely county path in 45 minutes. In 10 minutes drive the guests can reach Cortona on a hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno. From there guests can easily reach the main art cities of Siena and Arezzo (40 minutes) and the well-known cheese and wine towns Pienza and Montepulciano and also the thermal baths Chianciano or Rapolano Terme. Furthermore other villages not to far to visit as San Giovanni d'Asso, Castiglione d'Orcia, Buonconvento or Castiglion Fiorentino.
There is a large pergola well equipped to enjyoy outiside dining, with a glass of wine at the sunset. there is large built-in barbecue. There is the chance to really relax by the private and beautigul swimming pool which is on a different level from the house and playing ping pong (table tennis) under the shade.
Casa dei Cipressi can accommodate 6 people in the main house and 4 in the guest house, this has a complete and indipendent entrance.
For travellers who love sport, this is a ideal as it is easy to reach a few great golf courses and equestrian centres from the house.
Cortona is a great destination for those looking to hike as well as there are many paths around the town.
