Description

To the north of the province of Soria, in the Highlands region and a few kilometers from La Rioja, the town of Bretún comes alive by the hand of the Foundation. We offer a unique experience, with one of the most interesting art collections on the current scene. We highlight its extensive art gallery, with works by internationally renowned artists, a library with more than 8000 works and endless details, all of which can be visited and accessible to anyone.

When staying you can visit 6 buildings.

The Vicente Marín Foundation and José Miguel López Díaz de Tuesta in Bretún formalizes its journey in the spring of 2016, marking as objectives the conservation and dissemination of cultural and artistic heritage, as well as the promotion of the town of Bretún, its people and its surroundings. We are aware of the importance of sharing with you all the numerous artistic and literary works that the foundation has, some of them unpublished, in order to contribute to its study and cataloging.

De Bretún highlights its traditional architecture, where stone and wood merge into beautiful facades. The Church of San Pedro, recently restored by the foundation, retains curious reliefs of which Aztec inspiration is intuited.

Do not forget another of the great attractions of the area, the Icnitas deposits. More than 65 million years contemplate these fossilized dinosaur footprints, both in the surroundings and in the urban area itself. The Matecasa stands out, at the entrance of the town, the Corral de la Peña, the Frontal and Fuente Lacorte.

Room of 35 square meters.

We offer rooms, breakfasts and the possibility for groups to rent an entire house. You can enjoy our valuable library, the wonderful garden with indoor pool and of course, all the works of art owned by the Foundation.

We also remind you that there are endless routes and visits that you can do throughout the Highlands region
