Description

Les Cottages du Lac is quietly located near a lake, at approx. 1 km from the picturesque town of Saint-Amand-de-Coly, in the heart of the Périgord Noir (Dordogne). The domain features a reception, a wonderful (heated) swimming pool with children's pool (both open from mid April until late September; depending on the weather). There also are sun terraces with loungers, a playground, a fitness room, table tennis, boules, laundry and mountain bike rental. Parking space at the house or apartment. People who enjoy the peace and quiet, nature, culture and the good French life have come to the right place here. The surroundings are ideal for horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and taking beautiful hikes; for example along the banks of the Vézère. Visit the prehistoric site La Roque Saint Christophe with its 100 carved rock homes and see the 17th century abbey of Saint-Amand-de-Coly. The marvellous medieval town of Sarlat is only half an hour by car away.

Les Cottages du Lac offer detached or two-by-two,, linked cottages, located on a property covering approx. 20 ha. Some cottages are built on piles and are situated right on the (private) lake. They always feature a complete kitchenette and a terrace with seating. You can choose among the following types: A cottage in the parc with two bedrooms and a sofa for 6 persons (FR-24120-12). A cottage in the parc with two bedrooms, a sofa and a mezzanine with two beds for 8 persons (FR-24120-11). A cottage on stilts (by the water) with two bedrooms and a sofa for 6 persons (FR-24120-07). A cottage on stilts (by the water) with two bedrooms, a sofa and a mezzanine with two beds for 8 persons (FR-24120-06).

Specifics
• Wifi is free at the reception desk.
• The swimming pool is open from mid June until mid September.
• The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
